"Run for the Border" Birdie Cornbread

1 3/4 cups Flour
1/4 cup Cornmeal
1 1/4 teaspoons B.powder
1 teaspoon Sugar
1/8 teaspoon Chili powder
1/8 teaspoon Cilantro
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Milk
1/4 cup Veg. oil
1 large Egg
2 ounces Grated jack or cheddar
2 tablespoons Chopped green chiles

Mix dry ingredients in a lg. bowl. In another bowl, whisk milk, oil, and egg.Stir in remaining ingredients and combine with dry till moistened. Spoon into greased muffin pan and bake for 25 mins. at 400°.
